Who Are We:

Rifah Trust is a welfare and development organization, established in 1999 and has been registered under the Registration Act 1882 with the Government of Pakistan since 2002, as a non-profit, charity
organization.

Where are we located:

It is located at Rehmatabad (Gharibabad), which is an under-developed area, East of Rawalpindi, about 15 kilometres from Islamabad.

Our Motto:

As its Motto, it is committed to improve the life quality of underprivileged people, irrespective of caste, color or creed.

Our Services:

It is providing its services in the field of education, health, skill development and rehabilitation in Gharibabad and surrounding localities, with a population of more than 57000 residents who are mostly labourers or low paid employees.

There is no industry in this area. Industrial Home, Model School and Primary Health Care Center are functional since 1999.

Qarz-e-Hasna (Interest-free Micro Credit Financing) and Rehabilitation of widows and low income people started in September 2003.

Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Islamabad funded the construction of a building for Technical and Vocational Training Institute, and purchase of equipment for different technologies, during the year 2004-2005. Hence, in July 2006, the first course of Electrical Wiring, Computer Software and Air Conditioning / Refrigeration was started. Auto CAD Academy became functional during 2009.

Board of Trustees

The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees, composed of very senior
professionals and dedicated volunteers. The organization’s activities
are looked after by the Chairman of the Trust. Currently, it is
managed by Board of Directors comprising of the following members:
